Getting Started...

Okay, here goes...I decided to start a blog to document some home renovations. Now that that hubby & I are parents, it seems like we're spending more much time in the kitchen. And our kitchen needs some help...some serious help...picture oak cabinets with lovely blue laminate countertops. But being new parents (baby just turned 9 mos.), we don't have very much money to do a kitchen renovation (ok no $ really..I'm a teacher on my sabbatical leave...which means even less $ than I would normally make). So I've been searching the web looking for ideas of how to renovate/decorate on the cheap, but still have it look fabulous...should be easy to do, right? Can you detect my sarcasm here? Anyways, I'll be posting pictures soon so you can see the before pictures of my kitchen...I just have to clean it first, ugh.
